A comedy by Aristophanes. A new adaptation by Richard Woodward
Aristophanes’ thought-provoking comedy explores the age-old conflict between established attitudes and more progressive ideas. In this new version, we examine that conflict via a clash of generations, where Gens X & Z (roughly) can’t seem to agree about anything. Meanwhile, an ever-present Socrates is trying to explain what it all means, with limited success. Will critical thinking (or even common sense) bring the two sides to an agreement? Or, will they even agree to disagree? Either way, they will continue to look ridiculous, while the Chorus of Clouds watch over them all…
This production is suitable for people aged 15 and above due to strong language and sexual references.
