Our Award winning Youth Theatre has been running for over 20 years and is for young people who have a deep interest in drama and are committed to being part of a theatrical organisation and a creative team.

Aimed at those excited about theatre and who are curious to find out more, not just as performers but all aspects of drama. Weekly workshops teach skills and experiment with ideas, while regular productions in the Studio or in the Main House challenge them to perform for real in an exciting theatre environment.

Sessions take place on Saturday mornings 10am until 1pm and although there is no cost we do ask for a voluntary contribution per annum. Our Youth Theatre offers a unique opportunity for 10 – 18 year olds to work with experienced actors and directors.

We produce one full play a year in which the whole group takes part. In addition many of the young people take part in the annual panto as well as the remainder of the season, some ten plays.
