Written by Phil Porter, this is the tale of Joanna, Sophie and a fox called Scruffilitis.

It is their story, and it is a love story, but it is a darkly comic love story.

Their love story is not cliched.

Instead it is dysfunctional, voyeuristic, but it is theirs.

What first drew me to Blink was its quirky and unusual, yet unique and idiosyncratic characters.

A charming piece of storytelling that generously lends itself to two actors, as they take us through their world and all of its settings and people. Traditionally, the play is about Jonah and Sophie, but when I was torn between choosing two brilliant contenders for Sophie, I suddenly thought: lets make them Joanna and Sophie!

A decision which has reaped rewards at every stage of the process.
