John Whittell

Joining the HGLT last year, this is my third show after Rumpelstiltskin and The Unexpected Guest. Three plays, three very different roles; the Palace Guard, Angell and now Mortimer. All immensely enjoyable.

Previously, glorious decades of my acting life were with the Blossomfield Players with whom I did two shows, both comedies, each year. Then elsewhere including one show a year for 14 years with the Crescent.

It’s said that every actor finds something within themselves of each character they play … I leave it to others to judge the truth of this with Mortimer!
